HB 110, the Delaware Marijuana Control Act, has been reintroduced by Delaware lawmakers. Last year the legislation was narrowly defeated. This year, the bill is back with a lot of support.
Fourteen House and Senate Democrats have signed on to become primary or co-sponsors of the legislation, the Milford Beacon reported.
The new version of the bill includes provisions for a tax and fee on recreational marijuana. In order to move the legislation forward, it needs 25 votes in the House.
Marijuana is decriminalized in Delaware but lawmakers want to go a step further and make it legal for recreational use.
