The Columbia Care medical marijuana dispensary on South Dupont Boulevard is complete. The Delmarva Veteran Builders confirmed its completion. It took seven-weeks to complete the new dispensary.

The electrical, fire suppression and mechanical systems are all finished, according to Delaware Business Now. Interior finishes and new walls were also completed. The veteran-employed company worked diligently to meet the timelines of the project.

Gregory Murphy of Columbia Care said, “The required occupancy date, and tight schedule caused other general contractors to pass on this project. Delmarva Veteran Builders delivered the space on time and on budget. The superintendent, Brian Sanders, understood the urgency and was incredibly proactive solving each and every problem that arose. DVB understands customer service, and demonstrates a true pride in their efforts and end product. I would highly recommend them.”

Chris Eccleston of Delmarva Veteran Builders said, “As the nation’s largest manufacturer and provider of medical cannabis products, we were thrilled to have the opportunity to bring Columbia Care’s first medical cannabis dispensary in Delaware to life. With this being only the second medical cannabis operator in the state, DVB values the relationship it has with this client for supporting the local community through job and industry growth in Delaware.”

It is not said when the dispensary will be open to serve patients yet.
